Lunch menu a break in Lyon !

Time for lunch, discover our menu...

He respects the tradition and maintains associations of tastes from the "Mothers of Lyon" cuisine while adding a touch of modernity and lightness to make it more accessible and tasty. Terroir products are honored, celebrate the Lyonnais specialties of foie gras which is currently à la carte in some of our Parisian restaurants.

Discover several dishes from our lunch menu : cabbage soup with golden croutons ; Perch "quenelle" (traditional dumpling) with Nantua sauce (sauce with crayfish). The "crème caramel with langue de Lyon" (caramel cream with a traditional biscuit).As wine suggestion, we propose by glass or decanter: Récolte 2009 en Saint-Joseph "Les Muletiers" - Domaine Vallet (€ 12 for a 15cl glass, € 36 for a 46cl decanter).
The lunch menu is € 32, and the suggestions change with the seasons.

Inspired by the many years Alain Ducasse spent visiting the vibrant food markets in Italy and Provence, Rivea offers French and Italian cuisine in a chic, convivial and relaxed setting.

Starting in February 2014, the menu will carry a new “tasting” menu, created by chef Pascal Féraud, allowing you to experience the full Jules Verne sensation. It takes you on a journey of discovery and surprises, in a voyage of 5 or 6 dishes depending on your desires. The Expérience menu is the true essence of Jules Verne cuisine.

To pair with this exceptional menu, our sommelier will guide you with the perfect pairings, with two suggested path: « Incontournable » or « Exception ».

La suite Bastidon

An independent home with traditional charm and a large, private garden

Particularly spacious, the Bastidon comprises two rooms – a bedroom and a living room – a bathroom and a dressing room, covering a total area of almost 80 m2.
 Alain Ducasse and his interior design friend Tonia Peyrot worked together on the décor to give this new suite a charm both chic and traditional.


Beautifully worked raw materials
 
the wood present both on the walls and in the furniture, the stone that covers the floor and some walls, the marble of the monumental, Louis XV-style mantelpiece that reigns over the living room, or coming from India for the bathroom. The great oak four-poster bed was created by a Japanese designer. The lovely private garden includes a terrace, fig trees, olive trees, holly oaks, cypresses and the gentle gurgle of an old, Provencal fountain.

Light oak parquet, “Rain forest” marble from India on the walls, Roman shower, double washbasin, old-fashioned bath tub And to perfect your experience – a magnificent view over the valley and hills and a hidden door at the bottom of the garden giving you direct access to the hotel swimming pool.The Bastidon is adapted for persons with reduced mobility. Happiness has a name: Bastidon!
